DTI | Dental Technologies Inc appoints Laura Sheppard, CDT Sr. Director of Regulatory and Compliance
Dublin, California, January 4, 2012—Dental Technologies, Inc. (DTI), one of the largest networks of dental laboratories in North America, today announced the appointment of Laura Sheppard, CDT to the position of
Sr. Director of Regulatory and Compliance.
Prior to joining DTI, Mrs. Sheppard worked for Dental Services Group where she held a variety of senior management positions including Manager of Davis Dental Laboratory’s Orthodontic and Therapy departments, Director of Training & Education and most recently, Director of Quality and Compliance.
“We are very proud to have added someone with Laura’s experience to our Management Team,” said Kimberly L. Bradshaw, President and CEO of DTI. “With over 20 years of industry experience, she has a proven track record of designing and implementing successful quality control strategies that support clinicians’ goals and expectations.”
Laura is very active in the Dental Technology community currently serving as Chairman of NBC (National Board for Certification in Dental Technology) and is an NADL Trustee. Additionally, she’s well published having written numerous articles for JDT, IDT and LMT. In September of 2011, she was named as one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry by Dental Products Report.
Mrs Sheppard added, “I am thrilled to be joining the leadership team at DTI. They have a long-standing reputation for high-end quality restorations, outstanding customer service and employee care.” As Sr. Director of Regulatory and Compliance, Laura will be will responsible for the Company’s Compliance and Quality programs as well as helping with several key strategic initiatives.
MICRODENTAL LABORATORIES NAMES ROBERT KREYER, CDT, DIRECTOR OF REMOVABLE PROSTHODONTICS

laboratories in North America, announced the appointment of Robert Kreyer, CDT, to the
position of Director of Removable Prosthodontics.
Mr. Kreyer has over 30 years of dental laboratory experience as a technician, lab owner, and instructor. Prior to joining MicroDental, Robert owned Kreyer Dental Prosthetics in Larkspur, CA which specialized in providing removable prosthetic service to general dentists, prosthodontists and periodontists throughout the United States. Late in 2010, the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) presented Mr. Kreyer with Dental Technician Leadership Award. This prestigious award is given to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to the prosthodontic community and the discipline of Prosthodontics.
In making the announcement, Kimberly L. Bradshaw, CEO stated, "we are very excited to have Robert join our team. He is one of the top technicians in the country and his expertise in Removable Prosthodontics will help drive MicroDental's leadership position in this segment to new heights. Mr. Kreyer received his technical training from the US Army Medical Field Service School and education as member of various prosthodontic study groups at the University of California San Francisco and University of Southern California. He is a member of the American Prosthodontic Society and past Chair of the The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Alliance.
Mr. Kreyer is a continuing education provider for the Dental Board of California and National Board of Certification in Dental Technology. He is a BPS Technical Instructor for Ivoclar Vivadent and has written numerous articles on removable prosthodontics. "I am excited to join such a visionary organization as MicroDental. Dublin, California, December 8, 2010—MicroDental Laboratories one of the largest dental laboratories in North America, announced the appointment of Kenneth Jones, CDT to the position of Director of Technical Training.
Mr. Jones has nearly 30 years of dental laboratory experience as a technician, lab owner, instructor and consultant. Prior to joining MicroDental, Ken owned New Creation Dental Studio in Buffalo, NY which specialized in highly aesthetic fixed prosthodontics for clients, nation-wide. He previously served as the Technical Support Instructor for the Fixed Prosthodontic Programs at the University at Buffalo Dental School and is published in various clinical and technical journals.
“After completing a nationwide search and considering a number of very qualified individuals, we are pleased to have Ken join MicroDental,” said Lee Culp, Chief Technical Officer of MicroDental. “I have known Ken for many years and know that he is particularly skilled at transferring technical knowledge to people at all skill levels. He will be charged with ensuring all of our technicians are provided with the latest training and techniques available with particular emphasis on advanced aesthetics to further differentiate the company in the cosmetic market.”
