When Laszlo Hites, DDS, MD, relocated his family to the United States from Hungary in 1964, he envisioned a place in which he could create a prosperous future for his family, as well as one for dentistry.
With this same passion and determination, Laszlo established a dental laboratory--Micro Porcelain Dental Laboratory--in the laundry room of the family home in Oakland, CA. He innovated many procedures still in practice today, including the utilization of a 25x-power microscope for all delicate technical applications.
A new generation of Hites, sons Andy and George, continued this practice of innovation and dedication to the dental profession, taking MicroDental Laboratories to new heights.
Today, more than 40 years later, the torch has been passed to carry on the MicroDental tradition. As we embark on a new future, MicroDental will progressively build on the foundation already laid by the Hites family through an indelible commitment to education, advanced technology, and revolutionary dental products.
New partnerships and affiliations will be developed and cultivated, thus helping us to continue our goal of utmost quality and ultimate customer satisfaction.
