Indirect composite restorations can be a wonderful asset in material choices. Cristobal®+, manufactured by DENTSPLY Ceramco, has excellent shade matching, and shade stability characteristics with lasting natural gloss and translucency.
Because Cristobal®+ is mechanically polished as opposed to glazed, the finish can be refreshed. BisGMA resin is used for its elastic memory, exceptional elastic resilience, and resistance to damage. In a survey of dentists, 83% agree that indirect composite restorations reduce post-op sensitivity, are stronger, and last longer than its direct counterpart.
- Excellent marginal integrity and strength
- Kind to opposing dentition
- Conservative tooth preparation
- Chameleon effect due to clear material at the margins

Prior to seating the restoration, use magnification to ensure that all temporization material has been removed. If any part of the restoration or supporting tooth chips, it can easily be repaired with a flowable composite.
