Becden’s Case of the Month With Dr. Glen Magyera Stevens Point, WI

“Dear Becky and Dennis, How can you go from here ……… to this?
By using Becden Laboratory!

I thought I would send you some early finish pictures of my patient, Norbert, which Vickie has been helping me with. I can’t tell you how much I’m impressed with the results of this Zirconia bridge. Yesterday I cemented all of the lowers and the upper bridge. Vickie had a great idea to have the technician add pink gingival porcelain to even out the gingival smile line angle. As you can see, it turned out great! I would put this case up against any makeover case in the country!! Thank you for your great cooperation on finishing this outstanding case.”

Here is Nobert’s story. His wife has been my patient for many years, so she referred and prompted Norbert to visit me when his tooth under crown #8 fractured. His son was getting married shortly and she was concerned about his appearance for the wedding. On his first visit he simply wanted me to re-cement the crown. After discussing other existing situations in his mouth, such as loss of vertical dimension and broken teeth, he agreed to a consultation. His initial concern at the consultation was, as is often the case, money! He had been saving to buy his dream “muscle car” and knew he would need to use the money to fix his teeth. After thoughtful consideration, he decided to go for it and we were on our way. After tensing to determine his proper vertical and having a diagnostic wax-up fabricated, I prepared the uppers and put him in a lower orthotic. I subsequently prepared the lowers and then inserted the entire case with only one adjustment! Happy patient and happy doctor! I have since heard he has taken out a loan so he can still buy the muscle car. It’s all about value in everything we do.”
