Recently, while struggling to obtain the correct shade on a case, we discovered, after several unsuccessful attempts, that the newer shade guides from Vita do not match the older guides. Vita no longer sells the older Lumin shade guide and has replaced it with the Vitapan Classical guide.
Since shade guides don’t wear out many of you may still have the older guides. Upon comparing the two guides, the older guides have more red tones than the newer guides. There are also more shades to choose from on the new guides. At Becden, we have replaced all of our old shade guides and are now following the Vitapan Classical guide.
Take a moment to verify that you have the current Classical guide. If you do not, please contact Vita directly at 800-828-3839 to order new guides (product # G68-903).
