Are you regularly calibrating your articulators? With regular use, along with the knocking and dropping that occasionally occur, it is quite common for the calibration to become slightly skewed.
Becden calibrates all articulators every three months; the Artex, Stratos, Denar, Panadent articulators on site here on. Also, the Acculiner is maintained every three months. If an articulator is ever dropped, it is immediately sent to the Model and Die department for calibration, prior to continuing the case.

As a courtesy to Becden clients and to assure consistent and congruent mounting on your articulators and ours, you may send the above-mentioned articulators to us to be calibrated periodically, at your discretion. There is no fee for the calibration, just a shipping charge to handle mailing expense. Please remind your team members how important it is to “handle with care” when working with articulators, especially when preparing them for shipping.
